United Methodist Women in Faith

We are excited to share about a new United Methodist initiative that launches on March 22: the Hinesville United Methodist Women in Faith Prayer Breakfast. This gathering offers an excellent opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship for all women and students in our congregation.

We’ll gather every other month in Celebration Hall for a prayer breakfast, with our first gathering on Saturday, March 22, from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Our United Methodist Men will be providing our breakfast for this first gathering.

These one-hour gatherings will create a sacred space to celebrate our diverse community while deepening our faith. Our goal is to make this a monthly gathering, beginning in September.

The Hinesville First United Methodist Women in Faith is built on a powerful vision of transforming faith, hope, and love into meaningful action. We firmly believe these things can transform our community and world.

Each gathering will explore one of these five essential areas:

Christian Spiritual Formation, Leadership Development, Creative Fellowship,
Strengthening the Church, Impacting Local and Global Communities

Under the guidance of Pastor Tony and Kim Caldwell and our dedicated church staff, these gatherings will provide a welcoming environment where women and students can forge deeper connections, grow in faith, and put beliefs into practice, fostering personal growth and spiritual development.

We hope you’ll join us on this meaningful journey as we strengthen our relationships with God and each other!

Let us walk this path together!

1 – Is this gathering connected to the existing Christian Women’s Ministry (CWM) that now meets at the church?

No. The CWM began in 2006 and is an ecumenical group of women from different churches and denominations. This group meets at the church on the second Monday of each month from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. While the United Methodist Women in Faith is a separate initiative, you are welcome to participate in both.
Both are solid Christian ministries!

2 – Why are we starting this new United Methodist ministry?

Two reasons: (1) Of the many ministries we have at this church, the one element missing for many years has been a Wesleyan-based, United Methodist Women’s presence.

(2) While this prayer breakfast is for everyone, we wanted to develop a ministry for those with weekday evening commitments and busy schedules.

3 – What is the focus of the Hinesville First United Methodist Women in Faith?

The group’s primary focus is to live out our church’s vision of Glorifying God through Love and Faithful Service.

4 – Will there be membership dues or fund-raising commitments?

No. There are no membership dues or monetary commitments. We simply strive to come together for a creative time of fellowship and worship where we can grow in our spiritual depth. Our focus is on building the community of faith!
